Yes and no – We are to live “in the world” but not be “of the world”. Jesus went and spent time with sinners, prostitutes, lepers and the people who the Pharisees rejected as low life or worthless. BUT, Jesus did not do it so He could partake of their ways but to tell them of a better way and show them the love of God.
