Here the daughter of my people refer to the children of Israel and their young ones.
God is angry with the wise men and the priests of Jeremiah’s day because instead of calling for the people to repent and come back to God they told everyone Peace, peace, God is with you.
Jeremiah alone goes and tells the people of repentance and is put into bondage for speaking God’s Word.
