I found a lot of materials online about this, probably due to the DaVinci Code book and movie, as well as a series another theologian did on this work. I do not claim that this man is right about other things he may write (I am not that familiar with him), but he did take a lot of time to study scriptures and even other early writings about Christ and came up with the answer that “No, Christ was not married”. From a strictly spiritual point of view I think it is clear Jesus was not since we alone (the body of believers) are referred to as the bride of Christ. From this man’s perspective (taking an intellectual approach) he comes up with the same conclusion.
We could claim all kinds of things about Christ but if it isn’t in the gospel then it is just speculation and it is wrong, even being condemned by the Bible itself. Revelation 22:18 `For I testify to every one hearing the words of the prophecy of this scroll, if any one may add unto these, God shall add to him the plagues that have been written in this scroll,
