You are right on the second answer. God’s plan was for man to never be sick or die. Because of the choices made in the garden sin and disease came into the world and we continue to pay the price for this until someday our Lord Jesus returns, or we go to be with Him
Thankfully, because of His stripes we do have healing power available today and sometimes because of an act of great faith Christ intervenes on our behalf.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
