Answer:
No, He will not, not unless we intentionally and repeatedly over a long period of time continue to ignore Him and refuse to let Him be a part of our lives anymore. 2 Peter 2:20-22 For if after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog has turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
As long as we try to continue to grow closer to God and obey Him (even if we fail sometimes) the Holy Spirit will stay with us. It is only those who reject His authority in their life and they have no remorse or sorrow for doing so. If someone you knows is being convicted of doing something like this, then they have not because the Holy Spirit is the one who brings conviction. If they had truly crossed that line they would no longer feel any conviction for their sin and backslidden condition.
For those who make a conscious effort to walk with Christ, the Holy Spirit will stay with them and seal until the day of meeting Christ face to face…Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
