It is not just the curse of the Old Testament law, it is from family curses of abuse, witchcraft, addiction, etc.
We must turn our suffering and pain to Jesus and ask Him to bring healing to ourselves first, and then forgive even those who hurt you. It is not easy, but it is POWERFUL!
I know a young woman who was adopted at a very early age and because of alcoholism and sexual abuse that had been passed on from generation to generation she herself was a victim even in the home of those who loved her enough to adopt her. She could have been bitter or vengeful, or fall into these same curses. Instead, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and was filled with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Today, the curses are broken and her own family members have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior because of the power of Jesus blood and the act of surrender and forgiveness this young woman demonstrated.
