Where will the Holy Spirit be after the rapture?

Answer:

The Holy Spirit will always be part of the Divine Trinity…He has the same attributes as God the Father or God the Son meaning He is eternal.

The Holy Spirit plays a role throughout Revelation in dealing with the saints and even the witnesses which are sent to earth and resurrected during the great tribulation… Revelation 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

For all eternity we know from scripture that Christ’s government will have no limit, meaning someday we may understand why the universe is so broad and expansive…there is something great God has planned for all the saints beyond what we comprehend…the Spirit will no doubt guide us and direct us and teach us the ways of the Father and Son for all eternity.

Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Since many will be saved during this time I believe the Holy Spirit is also at work in the hearts and minds of certain people, even if it is a very small minority and probably most will be from Jewish lineage (since this time is dealing with the Jewish nation more than Gentile nations; although everyone will be impacted by the events)

The reason some argue that the Holy Spirit will be taken from the earth is found in Thessalonians where we find Paul talking about the events leading up to the tribulation:  2 Thessalonians 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

This does refer to the Holy Spirit, but it does not mean He is taken up to Heaven to let the earth vacant to satan’s wishes, only that He will no longer hinder the devil from carrying our certain plans like He does now.

Last of all, you do not need to be killed to be saved during this time but the odds are you will be – satan through the antichrist will actively seek out all Jews and all believers to be slaughtered like never before.
