In Bible times it was considered prideful for a woman to show her hair in public. I guess it must have been like wearing a skimpy dress today, it wasn’t considered modest or humble to have their head or hair uncovered much like showing too much skin is considered wrong today (although many Christian women probably need to cover a little more of themselves sometimes. Today, we can apply that to anything we do in dress we should do it modestly and not bring too much attention to ourselves.
